Details for May 7-8 D3 Rating

Patty P., Ratings Coordinator, has passed along these details on the upcoming D3 rating. Hello Everyone,

The D3 rating will be held on May 7th and possibly 8th depending on the number of riders. Please try to let me know as soon as possible if you plan on attending the rating. There are a dozen or so pony clubbers who are currently D2 who may or may not want to go to this spring rating. Don’t forget to have your block sheets checked, they also help prepare you for the rating. Our club will hold another D3 rating in the fall so there is no hurry to rate if the rider is not ready yet.

The fee for the D3 rating is $ 35.00 per rider. Please have a check and your completed block sheet to me no later than April 23, 2005 to confirm your attendance. The check should be made out to Hunterdon Hills Pony Club. Please contact your Den Leader with any concerns.

The Rating is at Rainbow Ridge Farm, Barbara H.’s place, 11 Rainbow Hill Road, Ringoes (the mailing address is Flemington). Rainbow Hill is off of Wertsville Road, the next right after the Country Club (if it is on your right). Once you turn onto Rainbow Hill Road from Wertsville the farm is the first driveway on the left. The rating will start at 9:00 am.

Please bring a lunch or snacks for yourself. The attire is Informal. Don’t forget your required rider equipment, helmet, boots, halter, lead rope, bucket, grooming kit, clean tack, and protective boots if you use them. Please be sure the mount you bring to the rating is suitable for the rating standard.

Attached are the sheets the raters will use for your test. The forms are also on the www.ponyclub.org web site, under FORMS.
