Kate H. Selected as Alternate to UK Exchange

Kate H. was selected to be the first alternate member of the United Kingdom Exchange 2005 August 12-26/05. She will travel if one of the other four team members is unable to attend (how tantalizing is that?!) Kate will participate in the team building activities. The “multi” disciplines are cross country, games, polocrosse, tetrathlon and show jumping.

From the pony club website: “This is a cultural Exchange. The Exchange Committee is dedicated to locating the very best examples of the "well rounded" Pony Club members. The team will be touring the United Kingdom- staying with members of local branches [clubs]- while participating in lessons or camps. Anticipate tons of riding. In addition to the amazing cultural experience. . . this will be an opportunity for the coach and chaperone to observe teaching methods employed by the UK.”
