RS Cathy B. Thanks Helpers for Successful Spring Break Mini-Camp

"We had beautiful weather for our mini camp. I was surprised by the number of phone calls I received, and now have a waiting list of kids who would love to do our next camp as well as a few who want to do repeats of the camp. We had children from 5 to 11 participate and some were able to ride on their own by the end of the day. Two, who came for two days, were jumping by the second day.

We played games, rode for about 1-1/2 hours in the morning with a repeat riding session in the afternoon. Everyone went away with smiles and good memories . . . We made almost $1500 ($1495) for the three days.

I am deeply appreciative for the help of two other pony club moms who worked all three days with me -Lynne M. and Nicole C. Such volunteer work is priceless. Also our members who gave so freely of their time and energy -all three days - Sydney C., Anna M., Olivia, Rebecca and Emma B., two days - Rita G. and one day Jake B., Katie D., Jessie E., Ashley R., Gus, Geneva and Piper T. I also want to thank the really good ponies - Little Lady, Badger, Blackie, Cloud, Marshmallow, Carousel, Chippy, Rose and Star and their owners for loaning them to us for camp. Without the help of these ponies and their owners, this camp couldn't have happened."
