Why: • The Bridget Gum Therapy Fund was founded by Bridget’s neighbors to help augment her many physical therapy needs. Bridget is a 3-year-old, East Amwell Township child, who, at 7 months developed TM, transverse myelitis. Bridget is paralyzed from the neck down and has been hospitalized numerous times for related complications. She needs constant physical and occupational therapy. It is their goal to add hippotherapy (physical therapy using a moving horse) as a complement to her other therapies.
