CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS SUMMARY

Now that I have had a chance to talk to the parents of all competitors, here's the overall report on how our HHPC competitors fared at Championships in Lexington, VA. We can all be proud of these competitors! The comments below are from parents of the competitors.

Tetrathlon: "Larry won Senior Boy's, Gus was third . . . It was very close between the three competitors, Larry's swimming was the edge. Gus won the overall Equitation award for all riders."

Polocrosse: "It was hot but fun. Polocrosse played Friday andSaturday but was cancelled Sunday because rain made the field very slick. The NJ/EPA Intermediate Horse team, the Pink Panthers, made up of Sara C, Kate H, Jes B, and Jackie K, SM placed 1st in HM and 3rd overall." Another parent notes: "Darn good considering the first time the whole team played together was the first day of the competition!"

Dressage (Training Level): "We are pleased to say that the New Jersey Region Dressage Team, including Katelyn S. from HHPC took first in horse management and 8th overall out of 17 training level teams. They had only one lost point to horse management after 4 days of competition. It was a great experience for kids and parents."

Senior Games: Lynne M. reported that competitors in Senior Games suffered many casualties with EMT's taking 10-12 competitors off the field; happily, her dauighter Anna was not one of them. They placed in the middle of a large number of teams, and were satisfied with the experience and to come home in one piece.
