The Blog is Back

I know I've been remiss in updating the blog, folks! A lot has happened since November.

JUMPS
-- Thanks to a burst of creativity and energy by a number of key people (Goodwin, Hutter, Santosusso to nane a few), we now own some beautiful jumps!

INSTRUCTION
-- An indoor instruction program in the month of January was a success, with many members participating in lessons given by Barb Hay, Carol Santosusso and Gus Torsilieri.
-- we will try to repeat this successful program with another series, if we can get the venue and dates.

SHAGGY HORSE SHOWS
-- Two Shaggy Horse Shows at Mercer County Equestrian Center have been organized by Carol Santosusso and Suzanne Hutter, with Gus Torsilieri as judge. They have gone very smoothly - we've now "figured it out" and it's great to have a chance to use those fabulous jumps, with their holiday themes. December's show featured various seasonal items like Santas and snowmen, while the Feb 3 show featured the Super Bowl, Valentines and President's Day -- see below.

2008 ACTIVITIES
-- Unounted den meetings are underway, and the Region has distributed the year's rally forms and calendar. Chris Torsilieri is working to get spring ratings organized. Help her out and let her know your rating intentions ASAP! (brilandfarm@verizon.net)
