HHPC GIRLS SLEEPOVER PARTY AT McGAHRENS’ –

HHPC member girls 12 and older are invited to a sleepover (tentative date: 3/13) in the McGahren’s barn on a Friday night, ending with for the unmounted meeting Saturday morn. Sara C will supervise and sleep in the barn with them.
Sara and McGahrens will handle food and games and activities. Sara will be paid, to raise funds for her South Africa trip. The girls can pitch in for the pizza. Heat will be on....but they will still need pretty warm sleeping bags & clothes due to drafts, especially by those big doors.
General idea (details to be refined):
Arrive 6-7 pm Friday night
Pizza, snacks, treats
Games (pool, equine twister, etc.)
Talent show?
Music and dancing
Lights out by 11
Threats of stall mucking at midnight
Bagels, cleanup, and horse feeding in am
Ready for unmounted at 10:00
We plan on a second overnight event before summer - perhaps a repeat of 2007 Goodwin Campout/river rafting extravaganza - so those who miss or opt out of the McGahren barn bash will have a second chance!
